Hello Everyone...!

I'm back and I've a cute little crew this time with me..! Including Sudheeksh, Sampath  and Namrata. As I said earlier, to bring a little change to our blog I have added these three young fellows to the blog. I will write in detail about each of them some other time. Am sure you all will like them as I do...!

Now to begin with, Sudheeksh came up with this nice idea of  one person writing a story and the rest continuing it. I and the other two were also excited about the idea and Sudheeksh started doing it straight away.

Here is the first part of The story Disguised, which will be later continued by himself..!

Sudheeksh has written the first part, and my first reaction to him was "Superb..!". The flow in the story kept me in it all the time I read it.

Hope you all will love and nurture our blog the way you've been doing it.

Disguised
Episode-1:
“Get up Sandu baba!! How long are you going to sleep? It’s already 11 and you haven’t eaten anything since yesterday noon. COME ON, GET UP AT ONCE!!”His mother yelled from kitchen. She was worried about him. He was acting weird from past few days. She had her guesses. But, she dared not to fire them on his face. Well, coming back to the point here, Sandesh had locked himself inside his room from past two days, lying on his bed but still awake. His face was deep buried between the pillows. He was trying hard to sleep and trying even harder to forget what had dug his heart out. But, he couldn’t. His eyes were swollen as he was crying continuously till there was no single droplet left in his eyes. He was too tired to even switch sides while sleeping. Yet, he couldn’t get a wince. He was haunted by the devil that left no one in their lifetime, LOVE!!
Sandesh wasn’t like this before. He was a jolly soul. He believed every moment of the life should be welcomed with a broad smile. He always made sure that people around him would never get hurt by him. He always stood by the needy. If anyone was in some trouble and needed a helping hand, there was Sandesh, holding their hand. He had the ability to make even a stone smile. He was as innocent as a child. Yet, thoughtful.
He had lost his mother when he was 8. And his father, Shankar remarried his wife’s younger sister, Savita so that his young son would never grow lacking a mother’s love. But, that act of his had cost him his son. Sandesh had never spoken to his father since then. Even though he never spoke to his father, they all had to stay under same roof as they wanted to grow old in the house in Bengaluru that treasured the memories of Sandesh’s mother. His father made sure that his presence would never irritate his son.
Sandesh was a bright student. He had tried hard to get settled as a software engineer in his dream company, the Microsoft. He had the dream to open an orphanage and get lost between the giggles of those innocent children. All he wanted was a bit taste of love. His life was going steady and smooth. And when his life stage was set for the biggest thing to happen, she entered his life, Adhya.
It was just like every other day in early rainy season, cool and cloudy, hard to tell when it would rain. As it was a Monday, all the streets were crowded with office cabs, school vans, private vehicles and public transports. Sandesh was also in his office cab with his colleague, Nidhi. And then, Zeus started his play. All of a sudden it started to rain heavily, with thunders and lightening.
“Damn! Not now!” Sandesh frowned.
“What Sandesh?! Still afraid of lightening? Wanna run back home and hide under blanket?” teased Nidhi, watching Sandesh’s face.
“Huh!? No dear, I’m just worried about what follows next”, groaned Sandesh.
“And what’s that?”
“You’ll see, if you’re lucky enough” his face mocking with a smile.
Just as he finished saying that, their cab broke down in the middle of the road with sudden jerks.
“Oh!! Not again!!” shouted Ramu, the cab driver.
“What happened Ramu dada?” asked Nidhi, worried.
“Yup, that’s what I was talking about” said Sandesh calmly.
“What!? You knew it would happen?” Nidhi asked with surprise.
“Yes mam. Everyone in this town have the ability to predict this worst scenario. Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it” he replied, still maintaining his calm mind.
Now Nidhi became aware why Sandesh was worried earlier. There is no chance of getting another cab at this peak hour and even the rickshaw-walas would act lazy and demanding when it rained.
“Can you check once Ramu dada?” asked Nidhi in a pleading tone.
“Yeah, sure” agreeing to Nidhi’s request, he got out quite hastily. Murmuring something he went out in the rain, opened the cab’s bonnet and tried to locate the problem. He returned after a couple of minutes, completely soaked in rain.
“I couldn’t find any problem. I’ll have to take it to a nearby garage and get it repaired. Those idiots, resting in A.C. rooms can’t even send this piece of shit to a regular service....”
He then started scolding the authority responsible for cab maintenance. Sandesh and Nidhi ignored him. They knew their ears might bleed if they listen to his holy words. As soon as he was done with expressing his anger, both of them got down from the cab and hurried to a nearby bus stop to get cover from the rain. They waited there for a bus to take them to office. That bus stop was a bit too crowded already. They were all waiting for something to travel by and reach their respected destination in time. Time passed on and the intensity of the rain started to decrease. After sometime it stopped completely and the sun managed to find his way through the clouds.
They were still waiting at the bus stop. Then, Sandesh noticed Rishab, his colleague and Nidhi’s boyfriend, riding his KTM Duke. Sandesh was now sure that he’ll have to travel to office alone. I mean, who’ll leave his girlfriend to wait for a bus with someone else and ride alone in such a romantic weather? That’s what hit Sandesh’s mind. As he approached closer, he saw Sandy (as his colleagues say) and angel in the bus stop. He was kind of surprised to see them both in that place, especially Nidhi. He had offered Nidhi earlier to ride with him to office and the way back home. But, she had to decline it as her orthodox parents would never allow her to ride with a guy in a motor cycle that makes the back seated person to lean completely over the rider. Rishab pulled over his vehicle in front of his colleagues. Nidhi hadn’t seen him approach. Her face beamed as she saw Rishab’s face. She had thought of calling him. But, had dropped the idea thinking he might be stuck in traffic. And, there he was, right in front of her.
“What’re you guys doing here? Aren’t you two supposed to be in your cab?” asked Rishab, trying to know the problem. That’s the thing about us Indians. After using things frequently, we believe it belongs to us: my cab, my bank, my office.
Sandesh waited for Nidhi to answer. But, she was lost in her thoughts, dreaming about Rishab. So, he replied, “We were buddy. But, that piece of junk broke down mid-way. So, we had to get down and come here to get a bus to reach office in time”.
Dripping droplets from the roof of the bus stop broke Nidhi’s chain of thoughts. She now boosted with enthusiasm.
“Forget it!! It’s getting late, let’s go” hurried Nidhi.
“How?” asked Sandesh.
“What do you mean by ‘how’!? We have a bike for god’s sake” exclaimed Nidhi, completely forgetting the point.
“And there are THREE of us. I don’t want to break traffic rules. Besides, we three can’t fit in this bike. One has to stay back and let the other ride” explained Sandesh.
Nidhi fell silent, although she had something in her mind. Sandesh laughed inside. He broke silence, “Come on guys, don’t act like dumbos! I’ll get a bus. You two love birds carry on” patting on Rishab’s shoulder. All three of them laughed out loud. Nidhi got on the bike and wrapped her arms around Rishab. She planted a kiss on his neck and held him tight. They both smiled at Sandesh and in a flash they were gone.
Sandesh sighed looking at the crowd standing in the bus stop, dumped just like him. Then he gazed at the sky. But, suddenly he looked back at the crowd and started to find something. After trying for few second, he found what he was looking for, a young fine lady. There she was, standing in the bus stop, half wet. All of a sudden the world around him appeared to move in slow motion. He felt he was standing alone with that lady. He kept staring at her. Those pair of eyes had really caught his attention, carved like lotus petals and flickering like butterflies. She was wearing a simple dress, very less makeup, yet gorgeous. Her hair was smooth and silky. It was dancing with the wind. She was brushing it back, behind her ears every now and then. But, it never listened to her. It soon found its way back on her face and started to cuddle her cheek. She became irritated by this routine. She took out a clip from her bag and tucked her hair. Sandesh smiled looking at all these dramas. She suddenly had a feeling that somebody is watching her and looked in the way of the eyes staring at her. It startled Sandesh. He moved his eyes off her. There was a playful smile on her face, seeing Sandesh’s reaction which he didn’t see. But, soon it evaded and was replaced by a flattened line of worry of getting late. Her lips were moving restless, still hugging each other tight not even letting the air to pass between them. Uncontrollably, Sandesh started looking at her once again, this time more alert not to get caught.
“Wow..!! God might have taken years to create her!!” he thought to himself.

He tried hardtop take his gaze off her, but failed. He was completely lost in her. Then, she started to move with the crowd, noticing a bus approach. In hurry, accidently her arm rubbed against his. He felt a shock wave running across his entire body for few seconds. When he was back to his senses, he realized he had not only missed her but also missed the bus.
